Boat sale went silent after wiring money to Wells Fargo

I found a boat I wanted to buy and emailed the seller at [email protected]. She said she already transferred the boat to Direct Line Auto Transportation to handle everything. We talked a few times and they sent me an Escrow Agreement so I felt okay about it.

I wired $12,200 to Wells Fargo like they said. Then nothing. Phone numbers stopped working and no one answered my emails. The boat is still listed for sale under [email protected] and also through PMG Advertising Agency with an address in Denver. So either Melinda Reeves and Carmen Martinez are real names or not, but Direct Line Auto Transportation and PMG Advertising are both complete frauds.
