Email about a PayPal problem I never had

Got an email a few days ago from this address [email protected] saying something about my credit card and PayPal. I don't even know what it was really about. It felt strange so I checked with PayPal directly and they said it wasn't from them.

I forwarded the whole email to PayPal as proof. They said it's a scam or spam. The email had a phone number (812) 266-3926 and an address in South San Francisco on Oyster Point Blvd. I didn't lose any money but it's annoying getting stuff like this.
