Tried to buy Ohio plates but website wanted a subscription

I was trying to get license plates from the Ohio DMV online and I honestly did not realize this site was not actually them. It looked real enough at first. Then they started asking me questions and wanted me to sign up for a subscription?? Like huh?? It felt like they had taken over the real DMV website or something.

The Illuminating Company here in Cleveland outsources their bill collecting so I am used to seeing third party stuff. But this was way different. Very misleading to me. I caught it before I paid anything but still.
