Got a weird call from a local number with a recorded legal threat.
The message said, "My name is Sophia Marshall with document services." It was a formal notice about some noncompliance filed against me, saying a complaint could move forward legally without my consent. It told me to call that number to request a copy.
I looked up the 888 number and found it reported on ScamPulse.com as the exact same scam. The whole thing felt off. It was just a pre-recorded threat from a local spoofed number.
Got a weird voicemail from Document Services about a legal notice
It said if I hadn't gotten a notice by mail, I had to call some litigations office right away at 855-637-9431 to get a copy. They said this complaint could move forward legally without me in a day or two. The whole thing felt off. I never signed up for anything from them. The message just ended with "please consider yourself notified." I don't know what this is about.
