Email pretending to be DocuSign about a bank I never used

Someone sent one of my employees an email that looks like it’s from DocuSign. It came from [email protected] but that doesn’t seem right. The email says there’s a PDF called Lead Bank Funding Authorization with a reference number. We checked and this employee has never talked to Lead Bank about anything.

When you click on the link it takes you to a Microsoft login page. That’s not how DocuSign works. The PDF wasn’t even clickable in the email. We didn’t go any further than that. We marked it as Phishing in our system.

The website listed was something like docucdn-a.akamaihd.net which is obviously not right. No money was lost but it’s still annoying.
