Paid $294 for memory pills based on a fake 60 Minutes story

I got a call about a presentation on memory improvements using Dr. Ohsumi’s discoveries. They said it was on 60 Minutes and talked about the Nobel Prize he won for his work on memory over many years. I know, I should have realized it was a scam. But at age 76 I’ve been having a few challenges remembering spellings that should be no problem for me, and I just succumbed to the pitch I listened to that day.

I ordered what they called a six month supply and paid $294. When I got home from vacation, the package was in the mail. But I started looking into this and found out it’s a scam. The website was Facebook and the address they gave was in Pinellas Park, FL. I never got a real company name. I feel pretty stupid about it now.
