Handyman did bad work and won't give me a receipt or contract

I hired this guy for some handyman work. He did three jobs for me and each one was over a thousand dollars. The work was really bad, just inferior. I asked him for a written contract and a receipt but he just refused.

He gave me the address 136 West Street in Clinton MA and his email is [email protected]. I called him at (508) 395-8115. He just said no when I asked for any paperwork. I don't even have proof of what I paid for. The work he did was not good at all but I have no way to show what we agreed on.
