Phone call about student loan help that turned into identity theft

I got a phone call from someone saying they could help with my student loans and reduce them. It sounded legit at first and I talked to them for a while. They asked for some info and I gave it to them because I really need help with my payments.

I ended up losing $1910 because of this. I called Mohela later to check and they told me they would never call over the phone for something like that. So I know now it was a scam.

The email they used was [email protected] and the phone number was (813) 940-8407. They said they were from EduPrep Solutions with an address in Oklahoma. I just feel stupid for falling for it.
