Text saying I won money from Edwin Castro Powerball winner

I got this text message out of nowhere saying "Congratulations in Advance! Something big is coming your way don't ask how, just believe!" and it was supposedly from Edwin Castro, the guy who won that big Powerball jackpot in California. It said he gives away $500,000 to 10 lucky people every year now and I got a code Prp990.

The message told me to text my code and full name to someone named Agent Thomas Fisher at +1 (417) 315-4055. Said don't miss it and stay blessed. No company name on it really, just the guy's name and this agent.

I didn't lose any money but it felt strange. I never entered any lottery or sweepstakes so why would I get picked for something like this? Just seems like a way to get my info. The phone number came from area code (302) 985-1053 but the address said CA, USA.
