Paid for a puppy from elitewieners.com and got scammed out of $3000
The next day, after the seller said he "dropped off the dog" to a place called Global Logistics, someone from there called me. They said there was an issue with the shipping and sent me an email about needing specialized crates. I contacted the seller and he said he'd used the company before and vouched they were legit. So I paid their "refundable fee."
After the transaction was done, we got a fraud alert. That's when we were able to find out both of them were scams. The fake name the seller was using is actually an NCAA athlete from another state. We ignored our instincts and paid the price, all $3000 of it.
Paid for a puppy that never arrived after more fees
The dog was supposed to be delivered but it never showed up. I tried calling the number I had, (213) 795-8773, but couldn't get through. No one from the website or the shipping people will answer me now. I'm out all that money and have nothing.
