Ordered handmade stain glass lamps and received poorly made plastic lamps

I purchased two lamps which took a month to received. I tried twice to reach someone to find out the status of the lamps with no reply. I finally received them today and I am very unhappy at the quality of the lamps. They do not match the picture and they are made of plastic and poorly made. One of the lamp’s lights was not inside the lamp itself. You can also see where there is no paint and the light shines through. These lamps are horrible and not worth the money!

Bought handmade glass lamps but got cheap plastic from Hong Kong

I ordered from Ellie Seattle because they said they sold hand-made stained glass lamps, mugs, and bags. None of that is true. Everything came from Hong Kong. The lamp was this heavy resin or plastic stuff, nothing like the animal picture they showed. The mugs were supposed to be crystal or stone but they're just plastic with a little silver cup glued inside. And the bags don't have any pockets or zippers, totally different from what was advertised.

They also claim they're having a going out of business sale, 80% off everything. But the items still cost around $50 each so that doesn't help. They say you can return stuff but when I tried they said I have to ship it back to Asia and I might not even get a refund. There's no phone number or address listed on the site. The whole thing is a scam.

Paid nearly fifty dollars for plastic instead of stained glass

I ordered from their website, it was google. The email was [email protected]. They had these beautiful stained glass art pieces online, really pretty stuff. So I paid $49.46 for one.

What showed up was plastic. Just cheap plastic pieces of crap. Nothing like the pictures. I feel stupid for falling for it but the website looked legit enough. No company name on the package or anything. Just junk.

Getting harassing loan calls from a number I don't know

I keep getting these harassing loan calls from 888-269-4978. They call me multiple times a day, even after I told them to stop calling. They are very aggressive and rude when they call. I never applied for any loan with them, I don't know how they got my number.

It's been going on for weeks now. I blocked that number, but then they just started calling from different ones. This is straight up harassment. They got my number from somewhere and now they won't leave me alone.

Ordered a stained glass lamp but got a cheap resin one instead

I saw the Ellie Seattle website and ordered a lamp they said was handcrafted stained glass. What I got was a cheap resin lamp. The paint job is shoddy and parts are missing, and there are chips. You can buy the same thing at Walmart for under $14. The lamp is only about 6 inches tall, but the pictures online made it look four times bigger. It's also sealed shut so you can't even change the light bulb.

Their return policy is a joke. They have a 30-day guarantee, but you have to pay to ship the item to China within 14 days. My lamp came from California, so why do I have to send it to China? They also claim you can use PayPal, but you can't. The whole site says they're going out of business to make you buy fast. It's all misleading. I lost $49.

Ordered a handmade lamp, got cheap plastic instead

I saw Ellie Seattle online, this site run by two sisters from Seattle who supposedly make handmade stained glass lamps. I ordered one. What showed up was just cheap plastic, the kind of thing you'd find at a dollar store. It's worth a fraction of what I paid.

The whole thing is a fraud. Their website story isn't real. I tried to return it like they promise, but they won't give a full refund. They only offered back a tiny part of what I spent, maybe 10%. It wasn't even worth the hassle for that little money back.

Ordered handmade lamps from Seattle, got cheap plastic from China

I saw this page for Ellie Seattle, a woman supposedly retiring and selling her handmade stained glass figurine lamps. My husband wanted to support a small business, so he bought three lamps for Christmas.

Right after paying $134.85, he got a shipping notice saying they were coming from China, not Seattle. When they arrived, they were just cheap plastic blow molds. They were poorly spray painted and looked nothing like the website.

He was so embarrassed by the whole thing he didn't even tell me. I only found out when the page popped up on my Google search. Now I have the info to actually complain. The website is ellie-seattle.com and the email is [email protected].
