Ordered an embroidery kit that never came, then got threatened

I saw an ad for an embroidery kit on Instagram and looked them up. On Shopify, Embroom.com seemed legitimate, so I bought the kit through the Shopify app on December 26th. It cost $41.35.

The item never showed up. After three weeks I emailed their support. They just said it was in transit. I tried multiple times with their "support" team to track it. Then on January 30th they emailed me to say the shipping company threw my package away. I never got it, and they still have my money and my personal details.

I reported it as fraud to my bank in April and they reversed the charge. Then Embroom sent me a threatening email. They said they'd send the $41.35 I "owed" them to collections. They're claiming I got the package and that I'm the one committing fraud with my bank. It's a mess. I learned my lesson about buying from social media ads.
