Phone call saying I was approved for a loan I never applied for

Some guy named Emilio called me from (877) 938-6435. He said I was approved for a loan that I had applied for. But I never applied for any loan. I didn't ask for money from anyone.

I told him he had the wrong person but he kept talking. He wanted me to pay something first before I could get the loan. I knew that was not right. I just hung up. No money was lost but it was weird.
