Got a weird text from a number listed as a scam

I got a text from phone number 229-354-7511. It said, "You have an urgent business matter within our office. Please contact 1-844-607-9115. Refer to file #----------- for details."

So I looked up that 844 number and it says it's a scam. I'm just going to text STOP and delete the message. After I texted STOP, I got a reply that said "Empire Merchant Solutions, LLC. you have opted out." That's the name that came back. The text said the address was NE, USA. It just felt off.
