Phone call about life insurance renewal asking for personal info

Someone called me from (862) 362-8079 saying they were renewing my life insurance policy. They had me give them all my personal information before I even thought to question it. Name, address, birth date, all of it.

They said they were from some benefits place and gave me an email [email protected] and an address on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington DC. I looked it up after and it doesn't feel right. I didn't lose any money but I gave them way too much info over the phone.

I don't even know what company it really was. The whole thing felt strange after I hung up.

Phone call about health insurance for medical professionals asking for bank info

Got a call from (605) 608-9456. They said it was about health and lift insurance for licensed medical professionals. Said I had to enroll right away because there was a deadline.

Then they asked for my bank info. That didn't make sense to me. I didn't give it to them. They also sent an email from [email protected] and listed an address as 1717 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington DC.

I don't know what this is really about but it felt off. Just wanted to report it.
