Thought I was on a government passport site but got charged extra

I was trying to renew my passport and thought I was on a real government website. It looked official enough so I put in all my info. They were supposed to charge me $245 for the application fee. Instead they took that $245 and then another $149. So $399 total. I tried to contact them after to get my application or at least some kind of proof I applied but nobody ever answered. No response at all. I just want my money back or the service they said theyd give.

Passport renewal got redirected to a different website

I went directly to the government website to renew my passport. When I went to have my spouse take the picture to upload somehow it was directed to the other website. I don't even know how it happened.

I have tried to call the company and none of the published phone numbers work. I tried calling (208) 470-8100 and it just rings. I also sent emails to [email protected] but no response. I just want to cancel the transaction and get my $167 back. Nobody is answering me.
