Passport site that looked like the government

I was trying to renew my passport online and somehow ended up on this website that looked really misleading. I honestly thought I was on a government site the whole time.

Then I got the email receipt and it said I would have to pay another $130 to the government to actually get my passport. That's when I realized something was off. I emailed them just minutes later asking to cancel and get a refund but I doubt anything will come of it.

I did a quick google search after and found out IVS.US is not legit. Too late by then. Lost $148.

Website pretending to be passport renewal took my personal info

I went on www.entry.com thinking it was the official government site for passport renewal. It looked legit so I filled everything out. They took my SSN, my mother's maiden name, my date of birth, all of it.

Then I realized it wasn't the real government site at all. I didn't lose any money but now all my personal information is out there and I don't know what they're doing with it. The email they have is [email protected] which I should have noticed sooner.

I just want people to know this site is not what it looks like. I feel stupid for falling for it but it really did look real.

Passport renewal site charged me and never replied

I googled passport renewal online and clicked on the first site that came up. It was Entry.com. I gave them all my info and they charged me $296.

My credit card sent a scam alert right after. I emailed them immediately to cancel the application and got no response at all.

I reported it to my bank, froze my credit reports, and cancelled the card.

Thought I was on a government passport site but got charged extra

I was trying to renew my passport and thought I was on a real government website. It looked official enough so I put in all my info. They were supposed to charge me $245 for the application fee. Instead they took that $245 and then another $149. So $399 total. I tried to contact them after to get my application or at least some kind of proof I applied but nobody ever answered. No response at all. I just want my money back or the service they said theyd give.

Passport renewal got redirected to a different website

I went directly to the government website to renew my passport. When I went to have my spouse take the picture to upload somehow it was directed to the other website. I don't even know how it happened.

I have tried to call the company and none of the published phone numbers work. I tried calling (208) 470-8100 and it just rings. I also sent emails to [email protected] but no response. I just want to cancel the transaction and get my $167 back. Nobody is answering me.
