Got a message about a death in the family and a discount, lost money.

I got a message on Facebook from someone at [email protected]. They said a family member had passed away and they were selling things at a discounted price. It seemed like a sad situation so I went ahead with it. The phone number listed was 1(315) 748-1425.

I paid $13.95 for what was supposed to be an online purchase. The money came out of my account but I never got anything. No item, no follow up, nothing. It just feels wrong to use a story like that to get money from people.
