Locksmith showed up and tried to charge $450 for five minutes of work
When he got there he said it would take him 5 minutes to open my door and wanted $450.00. I told him my husband can just drive home and open the door. Then he asked me how much I wanted to pay. I said for 5-10 minutes of his time no more than $100.00.
He said he would call his supervisor and I told him not to bother. After that I got 3 phone calls and the price dropped from $450.00 to $180.00 then to $100.00. By that time I felt like I had sucker written on my forehead and told them NO. The supervisor said he was sorry I couldn't afford it but I said it's not about affordability, it's a scam and I won't let it happen to me. This business shouldn't have a license.
