Job offer for security guard turned into money lost after paying for training

I got a job offer for a security position with a company. They told me to come to 1 W 125th st 2nd floor in New York for an interview. When I got there they said I had to pay a registration fee of $100 and then another $200 for training to get my f-01 fire guard certification through them.

I paid the money. After that I stopped hearing from them. No call no email nothing. The phone number they gave was 1(347) 928-8254 and the email was [email protected].

I never got the training or the certification or the job. Just out $300.
