Debt on my credit report for an account I never opened

I never opened any account with this company. But somehow my "debt" ended up with a collections agency. I was checking my credit and saw my score dropped 32 points out of nowhere. That was a shock.

Turns out there was a delinquent account for some service I never signed up for. I was never told about this debt. Unless maybe it went to my email junk folder and I deleted it by accident. I never got any letters or calls or bills. But my information was on the bills. The phone number they had wasn't even mine.

This is just not right. I contacted Experian and they removed the delinquent account. My credit score went back up. I've seen a lot of other complaints just like this one.
