Paid $600 deposit for a Sheepadoodle on Facebook and got nothing

I saw an ad on Facebook for a Sheepadoodle puppy for $600. So I reached out and the person asked for a deposit. I ended up talking to several different people but finally sent the money through Zelle to her. When it was time to pick up the pup she suddenly said she had to leave to see her sick mom.

Then she said she would pay for transport since it was her fault and asked for my home address to have the dog shipped. After I gave all the info some facility contacted me and wanted another $500 for a refundable rental crate fee. I told her about it and she tried using guilt tactics on me. I said no to her and that company.

Then they threatened to tell the "dog police." I told them go ahead because I will report it too. It is terrible people do this.
