Paid a deposit for a Siamese kitten but nobody was home

I was trying to get a Siamese kitten and talked to someone named Amy Eckert on Facebook Messenger. She sent me pictures of two kittens, a video, and even showed me what she called "client accolades" from other people who dealt with her. She really pushed this delivery service but I didn't trust it so I said I wanted to pick the kitten up myself. She agreed.

I looked up the address she gave me in Jacksonville, FL and the house was real. So I put down a $250 deposit and drove over there. Nobody answered the door. I sent messages, called, nothing. No response at all. Just another scammer.
