Paid for a puppy adoption and got scammed out of $300

I saw a puppy for adoption on Facebook. The person asked for half down to hold the puppy while we figured out transport. I sent the money through Apple Cash.

Then she said she had a transport company. That company didn't have a website or a Facebook page. They also didn't have a USDA transport number. They wanted $500 more for a refundable crate charge. That's when I knew something was wrong. I'm out $300.
