Puppy adoption ad on Facebook wanted a deposit before meeting

My daughter found this Mini dachshund page on Facebook about adopting a puppy. The person said she was a breeder and sent photos. Said they come with paperwork and all shots and were purebred.

My daughter talked to me about it and I told her to be careful. When she asked about meeting the puppy they said she had to put a $250 deposit down first and give personal info for the contract to hold it. She said no right away.

I'm glad she did. Felt off from the start.
