Video on Facebook about Elon Musk eye pills charged me $199.95

I saw a video on Facebook on July 23 that showed Elon Musk backing some product to help your vision. It was supposed to be $39.95 for a bottle of pills but it was a bootleg thing. My credit card company alerted me about a charge for $199.95 instead. I called them and said I didn't authorize that amount.

Then I called the product company and told them I declined the payment. They gave me a reference number and said it was handled. But on July 24 I got another alert for a $99.95 charge from the same company. So I called my credit card company again and they filed a fraud report and said they will try to block that company.

I called the number 1(800) 202-3237 and told them I contacted my card company and was going to report them to the BBB. They just hung up on me.

Person on Facebook took $1400 from my mom for a rental property

My mom got scammed out of 1400 dollars from someone on Facebook. This person was claiming they had a rental property for rent. My mom is on disability and she sent them the money.

The address they gave was in Milton, FL 32570. I don't know the exact company name because it was just some person on Facebook. She thought she was renting a place to live.

She never got any keys or a place to stay. No proof of anything. Just lost the money.
