Ad on Facebook for a book I never meant to buy

My wife saw an ad on Facebook for a book that interested her. She went to the site but didn’t realize she ordered the book. She decided she didn’t want it after that.

Then the company kept sending her more info about other books or products. She couldn’t figure out how to see if she actually ordered the book or how to remove any info she gave. She never got the book and hasn’t heard anything other than it was being processed.

The credit card was billed for $36.98. I already started a complaint with the credit card company.
