Got a booking ID that went to Pending, then they called about no seats

My experience was basically exactly the same as the one I read on ScamPulse.com. I got a booking ID but the status just went to Pending, not confirmed. The next day they called me saying there weren't seats at that price for the return flight. The other options they gave weren't acceptable to me.

I had already seen a scam report online for this company name. I also bought the refund insurance and they told me someone had to be sick to collect on it. The person on the phone made it sound like the airline had already taken the money. But I checked later and it wasn't even pending on my credit card.

I locked my card so I could book with someone else. Now they have my account number, name, birthday, address, phone, and email.
