Ordered car parts and they kept asking for more money after I paid

I ordered some car parts online and they said they were being shipped by Fedway. The shipping was already included in what I paid. Then Fedway told me I needed to pay $300 for insurance, but they said it was refundable so I went ahead and paid it.

Next day they emailed me again saying I needed another $540 for stamp fees to release the shipment. That just didn't make sense. I told them no and they stopped answering me. The seller I bought the parts from quit responding too. I'm out $300 now and got nothing. Their website is fedwaytrans.com and their email is [email protected]. They're supposedly in Los Angeles, CA.
