Got a text about my car warranty from a number I don't know.

I got a text message about my car's extended warranty. It was from (888) 777-5067. The message said it was from some warranty company and gave an address in New York.

I never signed up for anything with them. I don't even know who they are. It felt like a phishing attempt, just trying to get my information. I didn't click anything or lose money, but I shouldn't be getting these texts out of the blue. It's annoying and seems shady.
