Paid $1,000 for a mini donkey that was never delivered

I'm reporting a scam from the website fortunataminidonkeys.com. They say they sell miniature donkeys but I don't think it's real.

I contacted them through the site to buy one. At first they seemed okay, they gave me details and answered my questions. So I went ahead and sent the payment.

I sent a total of $1,000. After that, they didn't deliver the donkey. They stopped giving clear answers. There were warning signs too, like they wouldn't do a proper live video to show me the animal and they kept pushing for specific ways to pay.

Now it's clear this was a scam. I don't think those animals were ever real or that they even had them.
