Phone call from a number that refused to identify itself

Got a call from 803-573-1672. I called it back and it said to refer to the number that was left on the message. They had called several other people too, my husband and my ex-daughter-in-law.

The lady that answered would not tell me who she was but wanted my info. I told her her company was a scam and doing stuff illegal and I would report them. She hung up on me. When I tried calling back my calls got rejected. I called from a different number and talked to a guy named Frank Dalton. He refused to send me anything in the mail and said I was ridiculous for asking, that it was outdated and a stall tactic.

I know I should not have called back but it bothered me they were calling other people leaving a detailed message like that.
