Job offer from Heather Haines turned into a weird package thing

I applied for a job on Indeed and this lady Heather Haines called me from (406) 645-5410. She offered me a package specialist job inspecting and shipping packages. Sounded legit at first so I signed up.

A few days later they sent me a pair of diamond earrings. That’s when things got weird. They started calling me a bunch rushing me to send the package out. I got a bad feeling so I looked into the company more. Their website is https://u9819.freightmetro.group/ and the email was [email protected]. Address they gave is 6875 king ave w, Billings, MT 59106.

Everything about it felt like a scam. I never sent any money but I’m glad I stopped before I did something dumb.

Random job offer call with no company name making me suspicious

I got a random call from some company. I went through everything they asked, set up an account, took a picture of my ID and a selfie holding it too. While I was doing all that I just had this feeling something was off.

Something told me to check my email and turns out they emailed me the day before they called. But the email went straight to my spam folder. I don't know if that's a coincidence or what.

Oh and they use a W-4 form. The whole thing just felt weird.
