Phone call about a freight inspector job I never applied for

They called me and right away I knew it was weird how they sounded on the phone. I never applied for any freight inspector job so that should have been my first clue. But I played along for a bit to see what they were going to say.

Then they told me they didn’t need me to hold my ID next to my face. They just wanted me to take a selfie instead. That really didn’t make sense to me. The whole thing felt off from the start.

Their number was (406) 637-7213 and they had a website freightmetrousa.com. The email was [email protected]. Address they gave was Terry, MA. I didn’t lose any money but it was just strange.
