Hired to repackage things but had to pay for labels myself

I got this job offer from Freightmetro.com. I was supposed to pick up packages and receive them, then relabel and reshape them before sending them out again. It sounded okay at first.

But right away they told me I had to use my own money to print the labels and buy the packaging materials. I spent about $1200 doing that. I kept asking about being reimbursed but they never paid me back. Now the phone number they gave me, (406) 508-5104, doesn't even work half the time and nobody replies to my emails at [email protected].

Their address is 6875 King Ave W in Billings, MT. I just wanted a real job not a situation where I'm losing money.

Job offer from Freightmetro with no real work and asking for info

Somebody from this place called me from (417) 793-1309 about a job. They said it was for some kind of shipping thing and the pay sounded too good to be true. The lady I talked to, Heather Haines, emailed me from [email protected] and said I just needed to fill out some forms with my personal details.

I looked up the address they gave, 6875 King Ave W in Billings, MT, and it just seemed off. The website Freightmetro.com doesn't look right either. They never really explained what I'd be doing, just kept saying I needed to give them my info for the payroll setup.

I didn't give them anything but it felt like a scam to steal my identity or something. No real job, just a bunch of questions about my bank and social.

Employment application that asked for my ID and cost me $6

I couldn’t remember whether or not I had did an application for this company. I only released my ID and lost $6. It wasn’t until someone asked me where I did the application and I tried to find it online did I stumble upon a couple of Ecautious.com complaints.

The phone number they used was (406) 430-2125. They also had a website at https://freightmetro.com/ and an address at 6875 KING AVE W, Billings, MT 59106. The email was [email protected]. I just feel dumb about it now.

Job offer from freightmetro.com turned out to be a scam

I got a job offer through email from a recruiter. They said they found my profile on LinkedIn and thought my experience would be a good fit. I went through the whole on-boarding process and even had to photograph my ID.

After I did all that I decided to look into the company more. Found out immediately it’s a well documented scam. Their email is [email protected] and the website is freightmetro.com. They list an address at 6875 King Ave. W in Billings, MT but I don’t think that’s real either. The phone number they used was (406) 637-7918.

Just glad I didn’t lose any money but it still feels creepy they have my ID now.

Email about a job offer wanting my bank info and ID

I got a email saying I got a job offer as a inspection specialist. They said I would get 4200 a month with a 20 dollar bonus for every completed on time package delivery. They said it would total up to 5000 after the first month and then pay bi weekly from there.

Then they asked for personal information like my photo ID and bank information. It just felt off. The email came from [email protected] and the website is freightmetro.com. The phone number was (406) 508-5104. I didn't give them anything.
