They snuck a monthly subscription into my purchase and now I’m out forty bucks
I bought something from Gamivo.com and they hid this “SMART” subscription thing in the checkout. It looked like a 1 dollar charge, no big deal. But then they started taking 5 dollars out of my account every month. I didn’t sign up for that, it was just buried in there.
I didn’t even notice at first. By the time I caught it, they had already taken about 40 dollars total. I never got an email saying hey you’re subscribed to anything. Just the [email protected] stuff. Feels like a trick.
