Got a weird email about a computer plan I never signed up for

I got this email on January 30th, 2026. It says, "Thank you for your recent auto-renewal request, sdarrd." My name isn't even sdarrd. It's for something called "Secure PC Care" for 4 computers for 18 months. The order number is #7852950912 and it says the value is $484.57.

The contact number in the email is (805) 468-8923. The sender's email is [email protected]. The website mentioned is Geek Tech. I never requested any auto-renewal for any computer plan. This feels like a scam, probably an employment scam. I didn't open the email all the way because it seemed off. No money was taken, but I don't like getting these messages for things I didn't do.

Got a weird email about a computer plan I never signed up for

I got this email on January 30, 2026. It says "Thank you for your recent auto-renewal request" and it's addressed to someone named "sdarrd," which isn't me. It's for something called "Secure PC Care" for 4 computers for 18 months. The total it shows is $484.57.

The contact info in the email is a phone number, (805) 468-8923, and the sender email is [email protected]. The website mentioned is Geek Tech. I never requested any auto-renewal for a computer plan. I didn't open the email all the way because it felt off, but that's all the information I could find without opening it further. I just wanted to report this because it's clearly not for me.
