Online ad for gas saver device that did nothing

I saw this ad online a while back and bought two of them. I don’t remember the exact name they were using to sell it then but the product looks just like the one I got. I plugged it in where it said to and tried it on two different cars, both made after 1996.

Never got any better gas mileage at all. The company is listed in Hong Kong so I doubt trying to get my money back would do anything. I lost about 58 dollars.
