Instagram account keeps sending follow requests with weird link in bio

There's this account that keeps sending me follow requests on Instagram. I delete them and block the account, but they just keep sending more. I finally checked their bio and it had this link www.getmysocial.com/caseyxcass.

I clicked it just to see if maybe I knew the person since their city shows the same as mine. But when I tried to close the page, my phone popped up a notification saying the site was trying to open and access external apps. That freaked me out. I had to go into my security settings and turn off all permissions and block the site. I have no idea if they got into my phone just from me clicking that link.
