Text about a job interview I never applied for

I got a text from 561-235-0605 saying hey thanks for applying to GL Group of FL for a Benefits Specialist job. They wanted to know if I could interview in person on Tuesday June 16 at 11AM or 4PM in West Palm Beach, FL.

I am looking for work right now but I never applied to this company. I did not reply to the text. I looked them up online because I didn't remember sending in an application. Something felt off about it. No company name on the text really. Just the number and the location.

Text about a job I never applied for in West Palm Beach

I got this text on June 22, 2026 saying "Hey Candidate! Thanks for applying to GL Group of FL- Benefits Specialist. Can you interview in person Tues 06/23 at 11AM or 4PM? West Palm Beach, FL."

I never applied to anything like that. I do Accounting and Bookkeeping for a living, so there is no way I would have applied for a Benefits Specialist job. It just didn't make sense.

The number they texted from was (561) 632-6321. I didn't lose any money but it felt strange getting a message about a job I had nothing to do with.
