Accidentally used a fake government site for Global Entry application

I was trying to apply for Global Entry and I think I ended up on a fake government site by mistake. The website was ge.global-travel-apply.com. I put in a ton of personal info and my credit card number without realizing it was a third party thing.

It only hit me when the payment was going through and I saw the confirmation screen. They took $149 from me. I called my credit card company right away and they told me to try canceling the service with the business first, so I sent them a message through their support email at [email protected].

After I did some digging online I found out this is a known scam site. I haven't heard back from them yet. Just wanted to put this out there so nobody else makes the same mistake.
