Job interview on Zoom asked for workspace video then sent a fake check

I applied for a Remote Data Entry job on Indeed and got a message about an interview. Did a follow up interview on Zoom and they asked for a video of my workspace. Said the company would pay for all the equipment I needed.

Then they emailed me a check and told me to deposit it through mobile banking. Wanted me to buy equipment right away. The check turned out to be fake. The phone number they used was 1(302) 602-4176 and the website is glyscend.com. Address they gave is in MD. Email was [email protected]. Didn't lose any money but it felt off the whole time.
