Dating app keeps me talking to fake profiles and charges for it

I signed up for Grace Chat App, it’s supposed to be a dating app. But all I get are these really attractive profiles that want to talk a lot. The more we talk, the more I have to pay.

I make plans to meet someone, and then they always cancel the same way. Family emergency. Every time. Then they keep talking to me, so I keep paying. It feels like a scam. I lost about 0.40 dollars on it, but it’s the principle. They’re based in Shelton, CT.
