Ordered linen shirts online but got cheap polyester instead

I ordered some shirts from this site graysonandporter.com. They were described as lightweight, breathable shirts, looked like thin linen type stuff. What I got was polyester and nylon shirts with printed patterns made to look like they were enhancements on the shirts. Two of them were too small to fit, two were way too big, and one had sleeves longer than my arms. So none of them were the right size.

I reached out for a refund and they said I could get one but only if I shipped the products back. Not to their New York warehouse or their Chicago distribution center, but to China. It would have cost me over $250 to send it back and there was no guarantee it would even get to the place they told me. I was not going to pay more to ship it back than I paid for the shirts themselves. So now I’m stuck with these shirts I can’t wear and I’m out $170. I’m livid.

Fake business pretending to be in New York but really in China

I got a call from this number (861) 932-9021 saying they were a company called Grayson & Porter and they were based in New York. Sounded legit enough at first. They had a website Grayson&Porter.org and an email [email protected]. I ended up sending them $121 for something I thought was a real deal.

Turns out they were not in New York at all. They were actually operating out of China. I only figured it out after I sent the money. No reply after that. The whole thing feels weird now. I just want people to know.
