Got a weird text from GSB Mediation about a case number

I got a text message today from someone named Joshua White. He said he's with the GSB Mediation Dept. The text said it was "imperative" that I call him within an hour about some case, number 2026-****. It told me to call (888) 701-8036.

I don't know what this is about. I never signed up for anything with a GSB Mediation. Getting a message like this out of the blue felt really off. It just seems like a phishing attempt to get me to call some number. I didn't call them and I won't.

Got a strange message from GSB Mediation about a case

I got this text message out of the blue. It says, "Hi this is Joshua White with GSB Mediation Dept. This message is for [Name] it is imperative that you call me within an hour of this message regarding case # 2026-7371. Please call (888) 701-8036. Thank You."

I don't know what this is about. I don't have any case with them. The whole thing felt off, like they wanted me to panic and call right away. I never signed up for anything from a GSB Mediation. I didn't call the number. I just got this random text.

I don't know what this is about. I don't have any case with them. It felt off, like a debt collection scare tactic or something. I never gave them my info. I didn't call back.
