Someone selling gift cards for cash took my money and disappeared

I saw someone selling gift cards for cash online and it seemed like a good deal so I reached out. The email they used was [email protected] and they gave me a phone number too 1(540) 855-8132. I sent them $100 for the gift cards.

After I paid they just stopped answering. No gift cards ever showed up. No replies to my emails or texts. I realized pretty quick it was a scam but by then the money was already gone. Just a waste.
