Text about a Capital One payment I never owed

Got a text saying a $75 monthly payment was posted to my checking account from #620-501-8108. I never set up any payment like that. Then they said I owe $2,238 to Capital 1 as of 11/19/25, and then later a balance due of $963 as of 06/22/26.

I already paid $1,350 in $75 payments from 11/19/25 to 06/17/25 because they kept sending texts. The text linked to https://.Www.Guasservices.info which is a WIX site. They sent me a falsified check too—Pay to the Order of Guas, Memo 2022-133880, Check # 35259, but all my other checks have 6 digits.

I tried emailing [email protected] to ask for verification of payments and balance due. As of 06/22/26 I haven't gotten any documents back. The phone number they gave is (866) 575-0158 which has a 60% fraud risk, and the area codes don't even match up. Something is off.
