Job offer for data entry turned out to be a fake check scam
They sent me a check for $3,500 and told me to deposit it and then send a portion of the money somewhere else. I did what they said. Then the check bounced and my bank stopped it, but by then the money was already gone. Now I owe the full $3,500 back to the bank.
The guy’s name was Paul Martinez and the email was [email protected]. The address they gave was 950 E. 3rd Street #2608 in Los Angeles. It’s a scam. They make you think you have a job and then you end up paying them.
