Job offer asking me to deposit a check and send money back

I got this job offer and they sent me a check for $3450.00. They want me to deposit it and then text them at 725-263-9821 or email [email protected] with my full name, the check amount, and the check number. They also want a copy of my deposit receipt so they can "authorize" the bank to release funds.

After the check clears, a guy named Sullivan Mark who is the Campaign Manager is supposed to text me with instructions. He will tell me which Specialist to pay with the leftover money from the check. The money I pay is for putting a decal on my car and taking it off later plus logistics.

It just feels off. They want me to mail in a copy of my deposit receipt too. I haven't lost any money yet but this whole thing does not make sense.
