Boots and shoes came stuffed in a bag and nothing like the site
I wrote to them right away asking for a full refund. They came back saying I could keep the items and they'd give me 10% back. I said no, so then they offered 20% and I could still keep everything. The shoes were made and shipped from an Asian country too, which was not what the site said at all.
When I checked how much it would cost to ship all 3 pairs back I just gave up and took their offer. They told me the refund would go through right away and I'd see it in 5-10 business days. That never happened. Now I'm stuck with 3 cheap pairs of shoes and no refund at all.
Website says Boston but returns go to China
Then I wanted to return something and found out their return policy says I have to pay to ship it back to China. Not to Boston, not to any US address. China. The shipping costs more than the items are even worth. So a full refund minus shipping basically means nothing.
They advertise a US platform but this is clearly run out of China. I'm out $250 and there's no way to actually get my money back without paying more than I spent. Just feels like a setup.

5. They admonish you if you go through your bank, it will take weeks or months;
6. If you do a return, it must be sent to CHINA, not Boston where it was ordered from;
7. To return to China cost as much as the item;
8. THE MERCHANDISE IS SUBSTANDARD BY AMERICAN STANDARDS, and
9. You will need MEDICATION AFTER DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY(?).

Order got taken over by Harper and Wells after checkout
17 days later the stuff finally showed up. One was an extra large and the other was an extra small. The fabric felt like the cheapest material you could possibly sell. I wear a size 8 so neither thing even came close to fitting. There was no return info in the package at all.
I called my Dillard’s credit card to ask about it. This Harper and Wells thing seems to pop up when people are ordering from other companies and just takes over the whole order and your payment info. It needs to be stopped.
Wish I checked reviews before ordering from Harper and Wells
I found them through their website, harperwells-boston.com, and the email is [email protected]. I placed an order and ended up losing about a dollar, 98 cents to be exact. It doesn't sound like a lot but it's the principle.
I never got any kind of confirmation or anything back from them. No reply to my email either. The phone number they have listed is 1(917) 724-2963 and I tried that too but no answer. Just nothing. I feel pretty dumb about it honestly.
Blouses not as pictured and no return help
They offered a small refund to my credit card or a replacement item for no charge. I went ahead and ordered the replacement and I'm still waiting on it. I'll probably just end up donating everything. The original order said there was a money back guarantee if I wasn't happy, so much for that.
The site said they were located in Boston, MA. Not sure which planet that Boston is on. I won't order from places on the internet again unless it's a store I know.
Ordered shoes online and their easy return is a joke
I asked for a return and refund. They just offered to send another size, but that wasn't the problem. No other size was gonna make them fit better. After a bunch of emails they told me all returns go overseas and would cost me $40 to $50 to ship back. I paid close to $70 for the shoes. Then they said I could pick another pair and keep the cheap ones, or take a 15% cash back refund. Some Easy Return.
