Applied for help and only got a text saying approved

I applied for beneficial assistance on Helpinghandsact.com and got absolutely nothing from them. All I got was a text saying my account was approved but that was it. I never heard anything else.

This is a scam stealing peoples information. They’re in Aurora, CO. We need to put a stop to this.

Website for rental help asked for too much personal info

I was looking for rental assistance in my state so I did a Google search and their site came up. It looked legit so I filled out the form. I gave them my name, address, phone number, household size and income.

I also told them how much I owe on my bills and who I owe it to like my wireless provider and the balance. Now I’m worried I gave out too much info. Their phone number is (844) 931-1938 and the site is www.helpinghandsact.com.

I didn’t lose any money but I feel like this might be identity theft or something.

They have my SSN from that website

I don't even know how they got it. That website helpinghandsact.com. I never gave them my social. But they have it. I got a message about some help program I never signed up for. They said my SSN was on file. I didn't lose any money yet but that's not the point. It's my SSN. I called the number on the site but nobody picked up. Just felt wrong from the start. No idea how they got it or what they're doing with it now.
